KENSINGTON Spain is pleased to announce another successful expansion in Spain. With effect from 01.03.2024, the licence for Marbella has been granted, which is one of the most important and sought-after destinations for real estate investors on the Spanish mainland.
KENSINGTON franchisee for this aspiring region is Jose Manuel Blanco. Born in Switzerland, he grew up in Bern and has had strong ties to Marbella since his childhood, as a significant part of his family lives there.
After his apprenticeship as a banker and his following employment as an Account Manager in International Wealth Management at the renowned Credit Suisse Bank Zurich, he was drawn back to the Costa del Sol as part of his academic goals and completed his Bachelor's degree in International Business Management at the University of West London and MIUC Marbella International University Centre.
After successfully completing his studies, he worked for American Express for another 1.5 years before he decided to become self-employed:
My goal has always been to set up my own business and gain a foothold in the real estate sector. The real estate market in Marbella has great potential, so it wasn't a difficult decision for me to pursue my dream in one of my favourite destinations.
